Using WAPI to collect shared A records

I have many views, and so have many shared record groups.

But I'm unable to view these records with WAPI

Even using type 'allrecords' does not return any shared record.

Currently on version 6.12.11

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if to say, it's not possible.

Thanks

Wapi version 1.7 and higher (1.7 should be the supported version for NIOS 6.12) have the 'sharedrecord:' object(s)

sharedrecord:a : DNS Shared A record object.

sharedrecord:aaaa : DNS Shared AAAA record object.

etc

You can't get a group's contents directly, but you can get all records of a certain type (A, AAAA, etc)

unfortunately, searching by the group name is not possible.

Many thanks for the answer, I was using wapi v1.4.2, didn't even think about this. (no idea why this version)

No to go through all the shared records and split them per group off line.

Thanks again.

Dear My Friends,

Could you help me how I can configure DNS View, DNS Zone, DNS Record on Infoblox DNS Server via ssh/telnet command or WAPI? I want to declare Access Point Name (APN) in PacketSwitch (PS) using DNS Infoblox/

      Thank you in advanced.
