Hi, There:

I am trying to use _function=next_available_ip and noticed that the max num we could get back is 20, anyway for me to get back more than 20? One more question, besides num in input data structure, what other fileds I could use? I could not find the information from the API documentation.

thanks.

You are limited to 20 IPs in the next_available_ip function. The only two inputs to that function are "num" and "exclude".

Yes, the next_available_ip function is the same for ipv6 except it is under the "ipv6network" object instead of the "network" object used for ipv4.

thanks. Another question, if I asking 10, but only 5 left, infoblox will always return Bad Request, why is that, anyway for infoblox to return as much as possible, for example, if I ask 10, only 5 left, then just return 5 instead of return Bad Request.

thanks again for your help.
