restart interval

Hello,

Do you need to set the restart interval using the wapi or does it use the configured interval that is defined on the gui when doing service restarts?  I believe the default for the wapi is 10 seconds but we have it defined for a minute for our grid via the gui. I'd like to keep it simple if possible and not update the interval via the api if I don't have to.

Thank you.

The WAPI should use the GUI-defined restart interval but you can run these two commands to make sure:

curl -k1 -u admin:infoblox -H "Content-Type: application/json" -X GET https://10.60.27.4/wapi/v2.7/grid:dns?_return_fields=restart_setting

curl -k1 -u admin:infoblox -H "Content-Type: application/json" -X GET https://10.60.27.4/wapi/v2.7/grid:dhcpproperties?_return_fields=restart_setting

Great, thank you. I'm new to the api and I noticed that the grid: servicerestart was not searchable but didn't think of looking if there was another way to see how it was set via the api.
