Is there a way to automate an email to our IT SEC group when changes or additions are made to Public Networks?
We sometimes change ISPs in search of a better provider or add a new circuit for a new location.
Thank you

Hello smorales!
I'm not entirely sure of all the use cases you wish to cover but maybe as a starting point for discussion:
- I don't think we have a way to do it out of the box today (something in the like of "email notification option at an object level
- as an idea for a workaround - you might consider to leverage the audit log
if you define an extensible attribute, you can limit its use to network objects
AND you can also specify that this extensible attribute value will be logged when the associated object is updated
as a result you will see this EA in the audit log
so you could use the audit log to grab this info and use it as a trigger on an external system to get the email sent?
(for instance networks labelled as "PUBLIC") ?

This does not answer your question exactly, but would you consider leveraging the built-in workflows in the system? This way you could create a role/group, assign it RW access to your public networks only, then creating submitter and approver groups so that any modifications to those public networks hit your IT SEC group email?
