Configure DHCP option 12 host name

I have about 3 dozen IP cameras to deploy and I'd like them to pull their host names from DHCP. I've configured all the DNS names, IP addresses etc. in Infoblox but I don't know how to go about configuring DHCP to have each camera pull its own name from DNS and use it as it's own local host name.

How do I use option 12 to accomplish this?

If you know the mac address of the cameras you can  create a fixed address.

Edit the fixed address from the GUI.

Goto IPv4 DHCP Options and add Custom DHCP Options:

DHCP, host-name (12) string, <myhostname>

That was the solution!! I didn't realized I had to create fixed addresses to get the ball rolling. I was actually ably to upload everything from a .csv file and it worked great.

Thanks again.
