I am trying to create a class based on the giaddr portion of a dhcp packet  This is the 24th byte in a dhcp packet (http://www.routingloops.co.uk/fundementals/fundamentals-dhcp/).  On an ISC box I can create a class that matches a giaddr like the following

class "myclass" {
    match if packet(24,4) = 10:10:10:01;
}

NIOS does have the ability to define an IPv4 Relay Agent Filter. Take a look at this in the UI and/or Admin Guide to see if it perhaps fits your needs.

Unfortunately we are not using option 82 tagging at present. Is there another way in infoblox as the syntax is supported by ISC

Unfortunately it appears this is currently not exposed in the UI... however, I do see an RFE for this functionality. I would suggest reaching out to your Infoblox account team for a status on this and to prioritize the feature request.

You may want to also contact Support to determine if there are any other potential work-arounds.

You may be able to filter on a substring of option 50 (DHCP-requested-address) that should be sent in the DHCPREQUEST. It just depends if you can substring this in the right way to match the subnet or relay agent address.
