REST call to clear unmanaged data from an IP object?

I'm hoping there is an easy rest call that can be made to perform the same function as the 'clear' button that is available in the IPAM view. I've seen a python example, but was wondering if it can be done via a rest call?

Hi,

You can clear all data from an IP address using the DELETE method on the ipv4address object.

below is an example.

The first step would be to get the reference URL using the GET method.

curl -k -u admin:infoblox -H "Content-Type: application/json" -X GET https://10.192.32.240/wapi/v2.5/ipv4address -d '{ "ip_address": "1.1.1.11" }'

Now use the DELETE method to clear data from the address.

curl -k -u admin:infoblox -H "Content-Type: application/json" -X DELETE https://10.192.32.240/wapi/v2.5/ipv4address/Li5pcHY0X2FkZHJlc3MkMS4xLjEuMTEvMA:1.1.1.11

This is similar to using the reclaim button in the GUI.

Regards,

Sandeep
