Hello gentelmen

I have an presing mather to solve here; I am using hiden master in the name groupe.

Now this name groupe is used when importing 300+ zones via the DIW.

Question; is there any way to update the auto-generated SOA record to change the master server; basicly to not publish the hiden master.

Change the NS Group and flag the Primary Master as a stealth name server.  The name of the member will ALWAYS appears in the SOA record itself (some name has to be there) but this step will remove the associated NS record.

Let me give some more details;

{

server1 - Grid secondary, NO stealth

server2 - Grid secondary, NO stealth

server3 - Grid secondary, NO stealth

server-master-stealth - Grid primary ; SET to stealth
}

During import via DIW; Grid primary server is used tfor the SOA NS server; as I dont want the server-master-stealth to be used as SOA. The only solution I see is to temporarly set two Grid primaries and the one set as not stealth will be used for SOA in this case; Then later change back to one primary as needed.

{

server1 - Grid primary temporarly, NO stealth (after import change state back to Grid seconday)

server2 - Grid secondary, NO stealth

server3 - Grid secondary, NO stealth

server-master-stealth - Grid primary ; SET to stealth

}

It did take some time to figure this out; I hope somebody else will benefit from this also.

Greetings !
