global forwarding vs Infoblox auth zone

I have an Infoblox auth zone "xxx.com" which also have several sub-zones delegated to load balancers, such as "aaa.xxx.com", "bbb.xxx.com", etc.  I want to implement global forwarders, but do NOT want forwarding for ANY delegated sub-domains under auth zone "xxx.com".  In Bind I could accomplish this by defining a null forwarder statement (forwarders {}; ), but I can't find a similar feature / option within Infoblox. When I defined global forwarders, i saw queries on those forwarders for aaa.xxx.com, bbb.xxx.com, etc.  How do I prevent forwarding of any *.xxx.com queries ?

Simple!

Edit the auth parent zone "xxx.com" Smiley Happy , navigate to the "Settings" sidetab and enable "Don't use forwarders to resolve queries in subzones".
