One of our Infobloxes has 3 views. 2 of these views have a slave zone with external master. But the master only sees one Slave. So the issue that we have is that when changes are made in the zone on the master, that only one of the views immediately gets a NOTIFY message and is updated.
From a BIND manual I understand that there is an option called "in-view" that allows you to share a zone across views. It allows a view to reference a zone that was defined in a previously configured view.
I am unable to find this option within our Infoblox which is running NIOS 6.10. Does infoblox have a similar solution for this issue?

"in-view" is not supported in infoblox.
The usual workarounds involve TGIG keys for each of the views, this should force the BIND server to send additional notifies for each of the views.
or you can just slave the zone between the 2 views, again using TSIG keys
Master -> view1 -> view2
Or remove the secondary zone completely and just forward to the master for that namespace (or forward between the views)

One more question regarding your first proposed solution.
I have asked the owners of the external DNS servers to configure 2 servers with different TSIG keys, but with the same IP address. Apparently this is not possble in their BIND configuration. Does the external server also need to have a split-view config?

It's been 2 years and 8 months since the reply that "in-view" isn't supported by Infoblox. We have a need to duplicate zone data in two different views and our options to do this are not appealing. Does Infoblox plan on supporting this feature? It's been 4 years since BIND 9.10 came out with this feature.
