Hi all ...

I want to create "Custom Issue" in netMRI with the following criteria:

- Check to see if the interface has "switchport voice vlan" statement.

- If "YES" -> ignore

- if "NO" -> trigger the errors with: device name, device ip, interface

All helps are very appreciated and welcome!

Thanks ...

It is not that easy.  First you create the custom issue,  you define the name, variables, and the description.

Then you write a script/job that includes the logic as to trigger the issue.  In the script you tell it to make the issue and pass the variables.

The documentation has some easy sample scripts, including triggering an issue.

Thanks Jeff for your help and

Thanks Jeff for your help and info.

You said "The documentation has some easy sample scripts, including triggering an issue."  By looking the sample I may learn somthing.  Could you please tell me which docs? I tried but found nothing.

Again, thanks!

Look in the CCS Supplement, found via the help screen under Additional Documentation TOC.  You also may find downloading the Network Automation admin guide (Network_Automation_Admin_Guide_68.pdf) from the support site to be helpful as well.
