NetMRI Browser error

Hi,

for some trial I put a NetMRI on a VMWare. Configuration was successful but while using the GUI I got a "session timed out" within less than a minute.

A login fails with "Form Source Not Obtained By NetMRI, Invalid form submission, Return To Previous Page"

I tried Firefox and Chrome on Ubuntu with pepperflash and adobe flash.

I also tried Firefox and Edge on Windows 10 with adobe flash ... no chance ;-(

... any idea about the reason?

best regards

Roland

Do we have the VM instance installed with the bare minimum specs?

  • Minimum should be 4 cores @ 2GHz per core; assuming XEON processor.
  • A bare minimum of 16GB RAM is required.  Recommended minimum is 32GB – 64GB
  • The allocated HDD(s) should be local, non-shared, spindles.
  • If a SAN or NAS is used, then it would be best if you use an SSD buffer

Hi Prince,

thank you for helping me.

I installed the Box with the default configuration by ova-File which says:

8 GB RAM

2 CPU

60 GB Disc (local)

The CPU is an i7, 2.20GHz (Quad Core, 8 Threads)

After configuration wizzard I can do few things, after logout I cannot login any more (see picture in previous post) ...

best regards

Roland

Hi,

please try the following procedures step by step and report back which procedure and at which step it worked for you.

Procedure 1:

1. CLI: execute "conf http" and go through the wizard (hit enter for the most part)

2. Web Logon Page: check if you can successfully login

3. Delete all Browser Cookies

4. Web Logon Page: check if you can successfully login

Procedure 2:

1. CLI: execute "reset admin"

2. Web Logon Page: check if you can successfully login

3. Delete all Browser Cookies

4. Web Logon Page: check if you can successfully login

Procedure 3:

2. Web Logon Page: check if you can successfully login

Hi Prince,

whow cool ...

I already had cleaned the browser cookies ... but I was not aware about the cipher-suites.

Procedure 1 solved my problem immediately.

Thank you

Roland
