Hello,

on our network we have cisco devices that have lldp and cdp enabled.

With cli I see neighbors with show cdp nei and with show lldp nei.

Why on Netmri I see only cdp neighbors and the lldp part are not collected (Device/Network Explorer-> LLDP Neighbors).

Should I enable that somewhere on netmri to collect it ?

It's possible that the device doesn't support the SNMP OID in its running code.  Try doing an SNMP walk of "lldpRemTable".  If the result is the neighbor table, then NetMRI should collect and display it.  If you get "no such OID", then you'll have to check if a later software release for the device added support.

I noticed that some devices has lldp information but some other not.

I did the snmp walk OID lldpRemTable (.1.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.1) for one device that I don't get the LLDP neighbors and   and it work therefore it seams not to be a problem of SNMP OID on device.

For same Switch model, in this case Cisco 2960X the netmri collect this OID and for other doesn't, how can I troubleshoot the issue ?

I tried to rediscover the device but it looks that is not working ..

Open a support case with a Discovery Diag and they can help.  Give them 2 examples a device where it's work and one where it's not.

Also, include Code version and Model( I like to use the same models if that is possible)
