Sif -

That is a great post from Ben, but has anyone gotten NetMRI to talk to the GNS3 virtual devices?  How is this accomplished?

This is exactly what I would like to set up.

Thanks,

Lon.

Lon, yes, NetMRI can talk to GNS3 virtual devices as long as the network reachability is fine. I was able to get this done on Support Lab.

Videos like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gpje9PV1j8U has more information on how GNS3 devices can talk to physical network.

In short, the cloud in GNS3 can be bridged to the ethernet port of the machine that hosts the GNS3 environment and then NetMRI can talk to those virtual devices in the same fashion as it does for any physical device.
