Change member of network range to failover association

Hi there,

i have never scripted for infoblox before and was wondering if someone allready has this script (making my life easier).

I need to change about 500 networks so a i believe if someone has a script it is easier to use this then to do it manually.

The members of all the ranges inside these networks need to change from a grid member to a failover association.

Can anybody help me with this?

many thanks

i'm also trying to get perl working at this moment but i'm running into a certificate error.

i'm using the guidance of this document:

https://<ipaddr IB>/api/doc/Infoblox.html#1a__install_crypt__ssleay_and_libwwwperl_

Perl version:

c:\ibpack>perl -v

This is perl 5, version 16, subversion 3 (v5.16.3) built for MSWin32-x64-multi-t
hread
(with 1 registered patch, see perl -V for more detail)

Copyright 1987-2012, Larry Wall

PPM version:
c:\ibpack>ppm version
ppm 4.17 (ActivePerl 1603)
Copyright (C) 2012 ActiveState Software Inc.  All rights reserved.

c:\ibpack>

The error i get:
c:\ibpack>lwp-request https://10.177.7.15/api/dist/ppm/Infoblox.ppd > Infoblox.p
pd

c:\ibpack>type Infoblox.ppd
Can't connect to 10.177.7.15:443 (certificate verify failed)

 C:/Perl64/site/lib/LWP/Protocol/http.pm line 51.

c:\ibpack>

so this has to do with certificates. i read something about this being a problem with ppm version 4 and higher.
does anyone know a workaround as the one provided by infoblox does not fix it for me.

many thanks
yves

This is completly not supported by infoblox, however  ibcli will do this with one command, we have used it regularly for this type of work.
