The size of the enviroment depends of which appliance you use. For example, Trinzic 1420 can store 880k objects in its database. Each DHCP Range (or scope) object consumes 1 object in the Database. So, you could create 880000 scopes? No. You must consider the utilization of the other objetcts inside your configuration. Other objects, such as those envolved in DDNS activities consumes 5 objects in your database per device in your network.
Please follow the appliance documentation to check the proper values to your environment or use the Capacity Report available at Grid Manager, under the Grid tab to check the database object count of your environment.
Hope this helps.
