Hi,
I want to point to an IP address out side the system(a non-managed IP). For this I plan to create an Object with this IP Address and a FQDN name.Then create a CNAME record with an Alias name and the FQDN name of earlier created object as its Canonical name.
So that when someone requests for that Alias, it will get redirected to the out side IP associated with the Canonical name.

eg: IP Object -->(IP: 172.168.163.2, Name: server.bank.com)
     Cname Object -->(Canonical :server.bank.com, Alias: ftp.bank.com )
So, the requests for "ftp.bank.com" gets redirected to 172.168.163.2.

Can you please suggests some API for achieving this.
Thanking is advance

Bhumit
