Hi there,
I am using vro plugin 4.4 with vRA 7.4 and try to get an ip address from a special range inside a network. On this network are multiple ranges, so I ever get the first available Address from the first range.
At the documentation for vro plugin 3.2.1 on page 85 I can find options like Infoblox.IPAM.Network0.searchByEa. Surfing the internet I find solutuins filtering for a special range by EAs.
At the documentation for 4.4 these options are gone and dont work anymore(already tested)
Do I miss someting, or are they gone?
regards
Steffen

If you refer to the section titled "Extensible Attributes in IPAM Workflows" in the user guide for the plugin (page 62 in version 4.4), you'll details for how to incorporate searches for EA's in workflows.

Extensible Attributes in IPAM Workflows
In the IPAM workflows of the Infoblox Plug-In, you can use extensible attributes to assign attribute values to objects created in the result of workflow executions. Some workflows, including Reserve IP address, Reserve IP in range, Reserve IP in network, and Add network enable you to set EA values for the object when it is created in NIOS through the workflow. Other workflows, such as Remove host record, Remove network, and Remove range allow you to use extensible attributes as criteria to search for host records, networks, or ranges.
