Using DVSwitches with a portgroup per VLAN.
I have several networks in IB that I can assign for general use and I would like to use these in a "fill and spill" manner, e.g. first network is full, assign from the next available.
The problem I've ran into is there doesn't seem to be anything in the plug-in to support multiple portgroups. If I build a VM now, it pulls an IP from the first network, but the VM gets a network/portgroup from another VLAN.
So is this something that is supported out of the box or am I going to have to custom code it in vRO?

To make sure that I am understanding this properly: the VM gets an IP from one of the networks attached to the network profile (as expected), but the network interface(s) for the VM is assigned to the wrong port group?

Did you ever figure this out? I am facing the same issue right now, and according to VMWare tech support, this isn't supported out of the box. I think i have a working solution if you still need it. Just let me know.
