Disable Edit on EA [ Edited ]

Hey guys, I am currently working on importing all of my company's networks to Infoblox using Python. Everything is going great so far but I was wondering if there is an option on Infoblox to disable edit on extensible attributes?

Do you mean for the EA definitions, or for the EA values applied to records / objects?

In both cases, the answer is no:

For EA definitions, only superusers can modify EA definitions.

For EA values on records,  the permissions apply to the whole record, and cannot be applied to just the EA values for the record.

I see, that's a bummer because our Infoblox will be accessed by a lot of users across our company, so we don't want people to accidentally or intentionally change EA values. But thank you for taking a time to answer my question.
