Yes, the FireEye appliance is sold separately by FireEye.

Thanks to all that answered.  The reason for the question is that on our annual license request is this....

FireEye Adapter Module Subscription.  It is kinda out of the blue and took our solutions team by surprise.  I suspect that is actually what it says,  that we would be able to integrate our Grid with a Fireeye appliance if we had one.  Is that a correct assumption?
