DNS Forwarding for ISP

Hi all,

 

We are an ISP, and we are using two DNS servers as Recursive, and using the root name servers. 

Is it recommended to use as well the Forwarding for example for some public DNS Servers (Cloudflare, Google, etc) ?

 

How it works the authoritative zones configured as local ? Will not be forwarded right ?
