SRV response not includes Additional Resource Record

Hi folks,

Windows DNS server responds SRV records together with Additional RRs.

Please see below packet capture screenshot from Windows DNS:

But Infoblox sends SRV response without Additional RRs.

How can we have done this in Infoblox to support Additional RRs in SRV response?

Hi Ali,

If you Edit your DNS member from the "DNS members" tab, "General" sidetab, do you see "Return minimal responses" checked?

If "Yes" you may want to consider disabling it and restart DNS service as prompted.
