Subnets not being reparented after removing a network container via the WAPI

I'm remvoing a network container using the WAPI by calling its reference with the DELETE method and sending the argument "remove_submets=false".

The network container is deleted but the subnets it contains are not reparented.

Has anyone seen this before? Should the argument be placed in the query string or body when I make the call? I've tried both but still get the same result.

What do you mean by they aren't reparented?  Do they just disappear from the database?
