Hi all

Our ASAa presents its own Mac-adresse for VPN clients so we cant fix a VPN client based on that, but it DOES however present a unique UID pr lease.

Is it possible to perform a DHCP fixed address based on this UID?  If so, how do we do it?

When creating a DHCP Fixed Address, you have these options:

 

  • MAC Address
  • DHCP Client Identifier

It does look like you can fix an IP to a client by the Client Identifier.  You would have to test it out to see if it works.
