Hello everyone,
I recently tried to update the infoblox grid from version 8.4.7 to 8.5.4.
During the testing upgrade phase I had the following error:

follows the logs:

could you tell me what error it is, how to fix it, if it is blocking or not?
thanks

Yes it is blocking. Turn in a support case, but I think you just need to update the threat analytics module.

Thanks,

why do you say "you just need to update the threat analytics module."? where does it appear that the problem is threat analytics module?

Hi Drudder,

so I just need to update the modules to the latest version? and then upgrade to release 8.5.4.

Are those in the photo the last modules to be upgraded?

thanks

Hi Drudder,
The Threat Analytics feature is not active, and there are actually no licenses either i my grid... I don't understand why it gives me this error in the testing phase ..... since the feature is disabled. I can maybe try to do the same upgrade .... if it doesn't work, I perform a revert to the previous version

Hi Daniel,

it looks like most of Drudder's post are gone, so I have no view on the converstation except your answers to him.

It looks like there was a Threats Analytics installation before (since you mention the feature is not active and no licenses are in the grid) and it didn't got cleaned properly (by the system itself or so) when removing the feature/license.

I would make sure that in fact no licenses are installed (even expired licenses should be removed).

There is a possability that you would need to reboot your grid master in order for this effect (removing licenses/features) to take place... I had this before, and althoug I think you should not have to reboot your gridmaster, I had to do this...

But support should give you a final and definitive answer to this.

regards,

Jaip

Hi Jaip,

perhaps the system did not clear the threat analytics when the license expired.

So in your opinion it is enough that I reboot the grid master to cancel this feature.
does something change if the grid master is in HA ??

this is the license RPZ and logs
