Read-Write account unable to change Extensible Attribute value

I have some networks that have been discovered from a Microsoft server (they have the discovered icon) that we have assigned extensible attributes to (with an admin account).

 

Users with read-write accounts are unable to change the values of the attributes - they receive an error message (write permission for Microsft Server <ip-address> is required for this operation. I should mention that the relationship that IPAM had with the MS servers is no longer active (it was an initial import only)

 

Can someone point me to the permission that I need to alter in order to allow my RW users to change these attributes?
