IPAM Express...any luck running it in Hyper-V?

I want to run ipam express in my lab and already have a nice hyper-v infrastructure. I have no wish to introduce a one off hypervisor running vmware player or workstation just for this. I tried the Starwinds converter on the vmdk and it worked fine, but the vm will not get passed Starting services... in Hyper-V. 

Has anyone else managed, or even tried, to get this working in Hyper-V?
