    Hi Rangappa,

The script is the DomainResilienceTest.py, which is used to show bypass capabilities from current protective DNS solutions, grouped in the categories you see above. It's focus is recursive DNS.

DNS Advisor is used for a more comprehensive check against your DNS servers, including checks on zonefiles and SOA record contents, among others. It's focus is authoritative DNS.

Together, they each tell a comprehensive story about your DNS deployment. As you mentioned, the first requires a connection to the internet to function properly, as it is focused on making tests against recursive DNS, that is, DNS zones your organization doesn't own and needs to recurse to the internet to find an authoritative answer for.

  • Yes, there are lots of differences in the script and tool. If you can share the output of the bad file it can be easier to help debug what exactly happened.

  • Thanks Nic for your Information

Thanks @kzettel as i tried to upload the results but it is not allowing to post due to file format

  • What file type are you trying to upload? there should be an options for you to upload the file in chat.

  • Hi Kzettel pls find the support bundle

  • What is a support bundle for the tool? If this is part of an ongoing case# I can just use the case #

  • Sorry kzettel this is for another case posted in wrong window
