This week, say hello to Ben Stafford.

What's your role at Infoblox and your area of expertise?

I’m a solutions architect, so I work with customers and prospects to correctly scope and size deployments of Infoblox’s product offerings. My expertise is in DNS/DHCP, Infoblox Threat Defense, and NIOS-X as a Service, which is a relatively new and exciting offering from Infoblox. 

What's a trending topic in tech that you're excited about (or skeptical of)?

I’m interested to see where AI goes and how it evolves in the near future. It has certainly taken off in the last several years, but in some areas, it seems over-hyped…for now. 

What type of questions or discussions do you hope to see more of in the Community?

I love best practice discussions. Formal documentation, by its nature, often can’t cover a best practice conversation in full. Sometimes there isn’t a definitive answer or clear-cut best default, and I like discussions around the best ways of achieving results. 

What's a fun fact most people don't know about you?

I’m ambidextrous so I can write with either my left hand or right hand.

What would be your dream job if you weren't in tech?

Easily construction. I like building stuff.
