Is there any other way to connect a device to Infoblox endpoints without installing the Infoblox End

Question

I would like the device to appear in Endpoint view and show as an endpoint, but without using the local endpoint installation method.

Are there alternative methods such as DHCP/DNS discovery, AD/LDAP integration, or API connectors that can achieve this?

Yes, my question was regarding  endpoints talking directly to Threat Defense Cloud without using an agent. Understood from your answer that the only way to connect for endpoints is through the agent.

Do you mean that you want the Endpoint to appear under "Configure > Security > Endpoints"? or do you mean you want the source IP of queries to appear with more detail in the security logs?

Do you mean Endpoints that query Threat Defense directly or do you also mean Endpoints that query local DNS servers instead of Thread Defense Cloud?

For Endpoints talking directly to Threat Defense Cloud without using an agent? not currently but I'd suggest you reach out to your account team at Infoblox for a conversation with the aligned product team to discuss upcoming features.

If you mean populating the security logs, yes. There are a number of ways of enriching this data (e.g. with DHCP data).
