Nios 9.0.3 - AD Authentication

Hi All,

I am a newbie to Nios. Please bear with me.

I've configured my Nios virtual appliance to authenticate to my AD running on Windows Server 2025 domain which is also at Windows Server 2025 functional domain. I've created an AD user and an AD group of which the AD user is a member of. In the virtual appliance I've created an admin group which exactly matches the AD group name. I've also configured Authentication server group which pointed to my AD server and the appliance is able to successfully connect to it. Authentication policy is configured, and the AD group is mapped to the locally created Nios admin group. In short, I've followed the documentation to a T. However, the user is not able to logon. The only error message I received from the web interface is "invalid logon". When I checked the logs in the domain controller I can see that the credentials are correct based on the event ID. Just to be sure, I also intentionally entered the wrong password, and it's also logged in AD.

My question is, does Nios support Windows Server 2025 AD?

Thanks,

jhongjr
