IPAM Express schedule discovery

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get schedule discovery to work with IPAM Express.

Is this feature enabled? or Is there another module that is needed for this to work? What am I missing?

I was able to run some further testing and investigation and unfortunately the scheduler is not operational in the freeware version. You would need to run the discovery adhoc or take a look at the "trial" version which does provide increased functionality.

The IPAM Express freeware is limited in functionality but it does contain the basic discovery capabilities. Can you elaborate on how you have configured the discovery and what the results are?

Sure. Thanks for your response.
1. set discovery manager to run every hour and 15 minutes.

But when I check it the next day it never did an automatic discovery.

Also I notice the play button in the top left corner is grayed out..

Sorry about the images.

Manual discovery works fine, but when I try the schedule a discovery not
work.
The start triangle button is grayed out and I can not click it.

What platform are you running on? VMplayer, Fusion, etc?

IPAM Express was designed to run in VMware Workstation, Player, or Fusion so this may be a platform issue. The full version of Infoblox NIOS will run on ESX/ESXi which provides the functionality to schedule basic discovery or add comprehensive discovery via SNMP.

I would suggest testing out a trial version rather than IPAM Express as this should run on ESXi without issue and provide the full functionality.

Thanks for the suggestion. I installed VMware player and the schedule discovery still does not work. Is there anyone else having the problem? His this feature been test in the freeware version?

Is there any chance that this schedule feature could be enabled on the Express version. As a user of the full version in a production envoronment this will be little added feature compared to what is available in the fully fledged paid for editions. such as NTP, DHCP and DNS server functionality's to say the least.
