Is there a recommended (and hopefully seamless) way to essentially convert an A record to a domain? I have been requested to create a DKIM TXT record for an existing "domain", but I noticed the specified "domain" is simply an A record within our top level domain. While I know I can create the TXT record in the top level domain, I am uncertain whether DKIM, SPF, etal discern real DNS domain boundries as opposed to dots in the name. I certainly don't want this TXT record to affect our top level domain.
