In a DHCP failover association, when the status is Normal not "communication interrupted", what is the lease time given for the first time to a new DHCP client. Is it MCLT or is it the normal lease time?

Kindly

Hello Paul,

just a doubt regarding your answer:

if I well undestand, also in Normal-Normal state association, whitout any change in the configuration, the first time lease is the MCLT (1 hour default), but if I change the MCLT ( 2 hour, for example) the first time lease for new client will be 2h instead 1h... is it right ?

Thank you,

Fabio
