Hello WBounni,

These modes are to access additional commands for troubleshooting purposes. They in such won't cause any service-affecting issues. However few commands in these modes additional load to the system and can change the desired default behavior. It is highly recommended to use these commands in the production environment as per the instructions from an Infoblox certified engineer unless you are sure what you are doing.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Syam.

to restart the webUI (GUI), login to the Grid Master with CLI and execute the following command:

Infoblox > set maintenancemode
Maintenance Mode > debug webui restart

Setting the mode simply gives you an elevated CLI and therefore has no service impact.
The commands you prefer to execute though, can interrupt services.

'debug webui restart' here just restarts the webserver and can affect
1. Work of currently logged in users.
2. Interruption to an active jobs such as a CSV import.
3. Temporary disruption to API calls as they would most likely encounter a 5XX server error response.
