We are seeing the following error message from our Infoblox appliances (2) via syslog every couple of minutes. The x.x.x.x address is a Brocade ADX4000 load balancer.
infoblox1 err: named[17036]: client x.x.x.x#40305: update forwarding 'xxxx.xxxx.com/IN' denied
infoblox2 err: named[12394]: client x.x.x.x#40305: update forwarding 'xxxx.xxxx.com/IN' denied
My question is.. What is the Brocade ADX load balancer attempting to update in DNS on the Infoblox appliances? How do I stop this message from being logged by the infoblox appliances?

There is not enough detail here for anyone to be able to say what your Brocade ADX is attempting to update in DNS. To stop this from being logged, you would need to either turn off the updates on your Brocade if they should not be sending them, or allow the updates if they should be allowed through. Brocade Support should be able to help answer why you're seeing those updates coming to your Infoblox DNS server.
Here is a reference from the Infoblox knowledge base which provides a little more information for you here as well:
