Hello,

I've been searching in settings of netMRI if I can change the frequency for the appliance to collect config files from devices. Unfortunately I've found nothing and it seems the default frequency is every 90 minutes.

Can we change this parameter ???

Thanks a lot Smiley Happy

For Cisco IOS(-XE) and Nexus devices, the ccmHistory OID is polled every 90 minutes.  If the timestamp for the running-config change is later/larger than the previous value, a config collection job will be queued.  If the newly-collected running or startup differs from the previous stored revision, then a new revision is stored.

You didn't specify a vendor or OS nor whether you want more or less frequent checks.  The 90-minute value cannot be changed by us.  If you're after more rapid detection, configuring NetMRI as a syslog server will do that.  It will filter, looking only for message text indicating a config change.  For Cisco IOS, that's "...CONFIG...".  A new collection job will be queued immediately.

The other benefit of the syslog triggered method is that the userID of who made the change will be stored with any new revision.  Without that, the user is just "unknown".
