The FindIT search results do not include the ability to add any of the Custom Data Fields to the columns shown.
I haven't been able to find it in the user documentation - have I just missed it, or is there perhaps another way to update that table?

Hi,

You are right. You can't update Custom Data from the FindIT search results.

First, Custom Data has to be defined in the Settings icon –> General Settings –> Custom Fields page. Thereafter you can add this information to any device by navigating to Device Viewer –> Device/Network Explorer –> Custom Data

Hope this helps !

My apologies, I was unclear:
I do not want to modify the custom data fields. I want to *add* a particular field to the FindIT search table.

For  example: If my user audience opens Advanced Search Options they get the default:

Display the following fields in the results:

IP Address
Model
Network View
Software Version
MAC Address
Device Type
Full Partial Name
Device Managed
Vendor
Additional Info

I would like to add selectable options from my custom data fields to this table for the convenience of my user audience.

You will have the option of the adding the option "Search custom device fields" in the FindIT - Advanced Search.

Also, you can make an API call to get the data as well Smiley Happy
