Auto restart of critical services

Can infoblox monitor its own services and restart if failed? meaning, if a dns service fail, can it auto restart the service and recover?

We have watch dog services that do restart services if we see they are down.

Dear Makousky,

How do I configure and monitor watchdog servuce? I couldn't find how to enable this feature in NIOS 6.3 admin guide.

Could you please direct me to the right resource to understand this feature?

The watchdog service is not configurable. it runs in the core OS.
