Disabling events logging consequences

Hi,

 

One of the grid members are running hot, CPU @ 90%. What would happen if I disable the event logging for adp/rpz rules set? Will my reports be affected or will this only affect alerting in the syslog?

 

I've checked the admin guide and its seems that the reporter is positioned 'inline' with the dns service, collecting stats directly. But I cannot confirm if disabling events logging for the rules would alter my reporting metrics.

 

Would appreciate feedback.
