DNS Cookies RFC7873 - Infoblox Support

Hi All,

my question is straightforward, does infoblox support DNS Cookies RFC7873.  I have configured server cookies in BIND it's fairly straightforward and would like to look at it in Infoblox.

I have done some searches and it's come up with basically nothing but it wouldn't be the first time that I haven't found anything in a search :-)

Any help is much appreciated!

Short answer yes enabled by default.   To verify do a dig with +cookies - 10.63.0.26 happens to be a Infoblox DNS running NIOS 8.4.6, so its certainly supported since 8.4.0

$ dig @10.63.0.26 www.yahoo.com +cookie | grep -i cookie
; <<>> DiG 9.16.1-Ubuntu <<>> @10.63.0.26 www.yahoo.com +cookie
; COOKIE: cd98816573f8c4fd0e63b749604bd6eb52ddd89470e9ba70 (good)
$ dig @8.8.8.8 www.yahoo.com +cookie | grep -i cookie
; <<>> DiG 9.16.1-Ubuntu <<>> @8.8.8.8 www.yahoo.com +cookie
