Hello,

Is it possible to configure two Trinzic appliances of different models in high availability (HA) mode ?

Primary - Trinzic 1410

Secondary - Trinzic 1405

Both in same NIOS version.

AlaJeb,

Yes you can do it, but it is not best practice.  A concern would be the database size between the two models.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Since Infoblox uses VRRP protocol for HA communications, I guess you can do that, however I'd do it with two appliances of the same model.

Regards.

that should be fine.
The key here is the 1405 needs to be licensed as a 1415 or 1425.

The DB sizes are the same (1410 vs 1415) or larger (if going to 1425)

That being said, the 1410 is end of life/end of support, so I'm hoping this is a migration and not a permanent state of affairs.
