Merging two authoritative copies of the same zone name - Any advice?

Hi all,

I'm currently facing an issue to merge two authoritative copies of the same zone name.   I have an authoritative zone called abc.com running on the grid using an internal view.  The second copy of abc.com is running on Active Directory DNS servers and has several thousand records.  I have completed a cursory review of both zones as there are records overlapping which are different, there are records missing in the grid copy, there are records missing in the AD copy etc.  You get the idea.

Has anyone dealt with this previously and how did you go about merging the zone copies?  I was thinking about creating a new temporary view on the grid and importing the AD copy of abc.com but are there any tools or scripts that can compare zones between views?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.   thanks!
