How to Use the Ideas Portal

Options

The Ideas Portal is your space to shape the future of Infoblox! It's designed to give Infoblox customers and partners an open space to suggest new features and capabilities, vote on other members' ideas, and help us build better products.

Follow the tips below to get the most out of the Ideas Portal and watch ideas turn into reality.

Be Specific. When submitting a new idea, provide as much detail as possible. This makes it easier for our product teams to review your idea and take the appropriate action. A member of our team may message you directly or comment on your idea in order to gain more information.

Post with Intention. Our customers and partners have tons of great ideas. We encourage you to prioritize your suggestions and post the ones that you find most valuable. By submitting only your best ideas, this allows our product teams to spend more time looking into each one so they can decide which ideas to accept.

Upvote Others. See an idea you like? Click on that idea and click on the up arrow below the post to upvote it. This tells us which ideas our members like the most and influences our decision to accept and action the idea.

Note the Status. When clicking into each idea, you'll notice the idea status next to the upvotes. This is our way of communicating where the idea is in the process, from Open to Live. You'll also see when the status was last updated. Below is a breakdown of each idea status.
