Is there a way to protect against deleting an Endpoint group which is used in a security policy?

Hi;

 

Is there a way to protect against the accidental deletiuon of an Endpoint group which is used in a security policy? When tried, I was able to do it, then went to recycle bin and permanently deleted it without any warnings.
