Can I delete an expired CA certificate from the Grid Master without impact?

We are in the process of integrating Catalyst Center with Infoblox. The integration failed because the Grid Master has an expired Entrust CA certificate. We do have a valid HTTPS certificate for the Grid Master. Is it safe to delete the expired Entrust certificate to complete the integration or do I still need a vailid Entrust CA certificate in order for the integration to complete?
