Hello all,

Infoblox is deployed in our network and we have the grid management, reporting, and network discovery servers deployed. We are unable to get any information from our host endpoints when viewing their IP's in infoblox. We are not hosting DHCP and DNS services on the NIOS and are only syncing with out Microsoft DHCP servers.

Is there an option we need to enable to get more info from the discovered data?

Thank you,

To get more information from your host endpoints in Infoblox, ensure that you have the following options enabled:

  1. Network Discovery Configuration: Make sure that network discovery is correctly configured to gather detailed information from your endpoints. This often involves setting up discovery probes or scans.

  2. IP Address Management (IPAM) Integration: Confirm that IPAM integration settings are correctly configured to sync and retrieve detailed data from your Microsoft DHCP servers.

  3. Grid Configuration: Check your Infoblox Grid settings to ensure that any relevant data collection or discovery features are enabled.

If these settings are correct and you still face issues, consider consulting Infoblox support for further assistance.
