Removing Out-of-Band standalone Grid from network

Our former Infoblox Admin setup a OOB standalone Grid that I would like to remove, but not sure where to look or how to do it.  I just took over the Admin role [short straw], and just replaced our HA Grid Master and Member devices with new gear and updated NIOS.  Now I'd like to remove the old EOL device, but dont want to cause a burp in production.

It was not maintained or updated [6.12.x].  If someone could point me to the KB or documents on how this is done, I'd appreciate any help.
