Rename an appliance

I am looking to rename an appliance.  We currently have an appliance named "dhcp2" but would like to this to be "dhcp".  Is there any affect that the appliance would have like lets say rebooting or restarting?

 

I have done this in a lab environment with really no clients connected to the lab and didn't seem like the appliances lost any pings but I was not sure what it would do on a production environment.
